Gecko Cabane is a small French restaurant in Krabi Town, run by a French-Thai couple. Chef Jariya cooks the classics of French home cooking the way they should taste, slowly and generously.
With only 40 seats, the dining room stays intimate. You will find French dishes on the slate, a few Thai favourites from the chef's own kitchen, and a short list of wines and beers to go with them.
Signature dishes
Beef bourguignon
Beef slowly braised in red wine with carrots and onions, the way it is cooked in Burgundy.
Velouté
A smooth, silky soup made fresh, served warm and finished with cream.
Chicken in cream sauce
Tender chicken in a rich, creamy sauce, a French comfort dish.
Massaman curry
On the Thai side of the menu, a mild and fragrant curry cooked by Chef Jariya.
